I wish the meeting is going well!
Keep working and you will be rewarded at the kickstarter!

Real life stuff
Really get that you have little to no time when juggling work || / && school. (coding reference, plz laugh) Me myself at this time would have around 5-10h every other week if I'm lucky. Happy you're making amy progress and hope that you can keep chugging away at it.

I have to be completely honest, I have no idea at this time. Our current netcode is super simple but seems to be working fairly well. Like with anything it needs to get it in to everyone's hands so we can put it to the test and see what works and what doesn't. I'm not a networking guy so it's all a learning experiment for me right now haha. If you're interested in our back end you can read about it a little more here https://github.com/vis2k/Mirror

I feel like I took a tangent away from what you were asking; sorry about that lol. I've been at the computer all day and I feel like my brain is fried.
Nah you got all the answers I needed :) From reading the describtion, it sound what you need. Less than 6k lines of code for that is pretty impressive too.

What would the difference be than just having it play in the background?

I can add some Spotify controls that would turn off in-game audio if we have any.

Will there be Ai in the game? If so will it be actually hard as it seems to never be hard enough in most games?

I think they have said they will have a progressing AI, so when you learn the game the AI get better and better.

Hello. I recently found this games steam page and am very excited for its release. It will be great to have a modern mx sim with good editing tools. I am mostly interested in track making and really pushing the enduro/trail riding content. Recently ive been working with mx vs atv unleased. But it definitely has its limitations. Ive also worked with a few off road sims over the years.

Is the track editor a stand-alone program or does it use the unity editor? If it is standalone, does it have a fully 3d terrain editor? (I've just seen lots of mention of importing heightmaps from photoshop)

How much will ground types and deformation affect the bike? Will it be possible to get stuck in the mud?

Is there any way you guys can implement tight pivot turns into the game? (Lean forward and turn for a sliding pivot. Lean back for a wheelie pivot.) This will help greatly with tight enduro tracks and trail riding. I assume there is a manual clutch.

Have you tested how the physics are working with object collision? Do they handle rocks and logs well?

Any chance for reactive/colidable bushes and vegetation? (Similar to spintires)

The concept of having to walk back to your bike when you fall is great. It would be really cool to see this taken a little farther. Possibly be able to pull/push the bike through rough sections or over logs. Possibly even a pully recovery system. (similar to Spintires/Mudrunners winch system)

I know you guys might not exactly be focused on the Enduro/trail riding aspects as much as mx. But a guy can dream. Hope development is going well.

Hey Hodge, I saw your reply on the other things before the forum reset. But any word on if tight Pivot turns might be doable? Possibly have an option to disable them if they might interfere with racing. But they would really let us be creative with trail making.
